How it works in three steps
- Connect Google.Sign in with read-only access to Search Console and pick your site.
- Open the Cannibalization tab.It lists the searches with competing pages.
- Click a row.See the competing pages and decide which one should win.

How a competing page is counted
SEOSage looks for searches where two or more pages each get at least 10 impressions and 10% of that search's impressions.
- Fewer false alarms: links to a section of the same page are counted as one page
- Sites with little data correctly show No competing pages found
- Read-only access: SEOSage reads Search Console and never changes anything

What is keyword cannibalization?
It happens when two or more pages on your website compete for the same search. Google may switch between them, and neither page ranks as well as one strong page would.
How does SEOSage find it?
It reads your Search Console data and lists the searches where two or more of your pages each get at least 10 impressions and 10% of that search's impressions.
Do I need Search Console?
Yes. The Cannibalization tab uses your Search Console data, so connect Google first. Access is read-only.
What should I do about it?
Pick the page that should rank, then merge the others into it or change their focus so they target a different search.
Can I export the list?
Yes. Export CSV gives one line per search and page.
Does it work on any date range?
Yes. It follows the same search type, date range and filters as the other Search tabs.
