Google Search Console report next to your site audit
SEOSage, a desktop app for Mac and Windows, has a Search page that works as a Google Search Console report for a site: clicks, impressions, click rate and average position. It sits next to your crawl, so you can read your traffic and your technical issues in one app.

What the Search page shows
- Four numbers: Total clicks, total impressions, average CTR and average position. Click a card to show or hide its line on the chart
- A daily chart: Hover the chart to see each day's numbers
- Crawls on the chart: Each crawl of the site is marked with a dashed line and a note on what changed since the crawl before: health score, errors and pages
- Tabs: Queries, Pages, Countries, Devices and Dates, plus Cannibalization and Quick wins
- Search type and dates: Web, Image, Video or News. Last 7 days, 28 days, 3 months, 6 months, 12 months, 16 months, or your own dates
- Filters: Add a Query, Page, Country or Device filter. For query and page: contains, does not contain, exactly matches or is not. Click a row to filter by it
- Tables: Sort each column, choose 10 to 1,000 rows a page, and export CSV
- Fresh data: The page refreshes by itself every 24 hours while SEOSage is open, and has a Refresh button
What it does not do
The Search page reads your Search Console data and cannot change anything in it. It does not compare two periods (Rank tracking does that for keyword positions) and it has no Search appearance tab.
It shows only your own site. There is no search volume, keyword difficulty or backlink data. Search Console data is about 2 days behind, and the newest days can still change. Each table loads up to 1,000 rows.
A way to find a page to improve
Four steps:
- Open Queries and sort by Impressions.
- Click a search to filter by it.
- Open Pages to see which pages get that search.
- Look at Position and CTR. A page that is shown often but rarely clicked may need a better title and description.
How it works in three steps
- Connect Search Console.Open Search in the site menu and sign in with Google. Access is read-only.
- Choose what to look at.Pick the search type and dates, add filters and open a tab.
- Line it up with your crawls. The dashed lines on the chart mark each crawl, so you can see when a fix came next to a change in clicks.

Questions about this check
What is the Search page in SEOSage?
A Search Console report inside the app. It shows clicks, impressions, CTR and average position for a site, a daily chart with your crawls marked, and tables of queries, pages, countries, devices and dates.
Do I need Google Search Console?
Yes. Sign in with a Google account that has your site in Search Console. Access is read-only, the sign-in is kept encrypted on your computer, and nothing goes through a SEOSage server.
Which dates and search types can I use?
Web, Image, Video or News, and the last 7 days, 28 days, 3 months, 6 months, 12 months or 16 months, or dates you pick.
How is it different from Rank tracking?
Search is the general report: totals, a chart and tables. Rank tracking follows keyword positions, compares two periods, lets you pin keywords and sends drop alerts.
Are the numbers the same as in Search Console?
They are read from Google's Search Console API. Search Console data is about 2 days behind, and the newest days can still change.
Can I use more than one Google account?
Yes. You can sign in with more than one account, and the site list shows the sites from all of them. SEOSage remembers which account a site belongs to.
