What is an SEO MCP connector?

MCP, the Model Context Protocol, is the standard Claude uses to talk to other apps. An SEO MCP connector lets Claude read SEO data from a tool instead of guessing. SEOSage runs its connector on your own computer, so Claude reads your crawl results where they are stored.

Connect once, then ask

  1. Open Settings in SEOSage and click Connect to Claude.One click sets up Claude chat, Cowork and Claude Code.
  2. Quit and reopen Claude once.Claude loads the connector when it starts.
  3. Ask about your SEO.Claude reads the crawls saved on your computer.

What Claude can look at

SEOSage gives Claude eight tools. Most read the crawls saved on your computer. One starts a new crawl. None can change your settings or see your sign-in details.

Questions about using Claude with SEOSage

What is an SEO MCP server?

An SEO MCP server is a connector that lets Claude read SEO data from a tool through the Model Context Protocol. SEOSage runs its connector on your own computer and gives Claude eight tools to read your crawl results and start a new crawl.

What does connecting Claude do?

Claude can read your SEOSage crawl results on your computer, so you can ask about your SEO in plain language or have Claude build a custom report deck.

Where does it work?

In Claude chat, Cowork and Claude Code.

Can Claude change my settings or see my passwords?

No. Claude gets a small set of tools to read your results and to start a new crawl. It cannot change your settings, and your login and passwords are never shared.

Do I need to connect Claude to use SEOSage?

No. It is optional. Every other feature works without it.

Does my crawl data leave my computer?

Claude reads it on your computer when you ask a question. What Claude does with your prompts is covered by its own terms and privacy policy.
